F1: WHY FERRARI WANTS ALONSO TO BE NUMBER ONE???

I can't understand the reason why Ferrari wants Alonso to be their number one driver........ In my opinion they should treat both the drivers equally for a couple of seasons then the one who is faster should be picked as the number one driver, only if they really want to choose a number one driver. But it's unfair that all of a sudden you've started favouring a driver just because he brought a sponsor with him. F1 is all about pace, you have to pick the guy who's fast. If Micheal Schumacher was number one at Ferrari it was just because he earned that place by proving that he's faster then the rest and his team backed him just because they knew his contributions. In contrast, Alonso so far does not have any contribution at all & still he's getting the favour. . . . . :S

Bottom line is that Ferrari should stop favouring Alonso blindly and should let him earn that place just like Micheal did. . . . . . . . . . .

F1: UNDESERVING ALONSO WINS IN HOCKENHEIM

Fernando Alonso took an undeserved victory in Germany this Sunday when team orders stood in the way of Felipe Massa. Surprisingly, Ferrari made such a big improvement in the developments that their race pace was the fastest on the track, I think no one was expecting them to be that fast even they were not sure that where will they be in the race.

Felipe Massa started his domination from the very first lap, just as my prediction the Paulista made a flying start which he termed as the best of the season so far, he passed Alonso (he was side by side with him in the first 4-5 meters) and struggling Vettle to gain the race lead at the very first corner of the Hockeneim circuit. Both the Ferrari drivers were exchanging fastest lap times with Massa maintaining a lead of over 3 seconds till the first pit stop. Once again Ferrari favoured Alonso by bringing him in the pits earlier than his team mate, Massa made his pit stop in the very next lap but he had lesser time to get the tyres to the working temperature as Alonso was charging from behind due to to which the Brazilian was struggling on the harder compound tyres (although he is struggling on the hard compound this season but this time it was a lil. . . .) & locked his tyre’s 4-5 times. During this period Alonso tried a move past him but the rock solid Brazilian defended his position and blocked Alonso, later we heard Alonso crying “this is ridiculous”. Massa once again opened a nice gap to his team mate and was cruising to victory until Rob Smedely (Massa’s race engineer) came on the radio and said “Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understand that message??? On lap 49, Felipe slowed down and gave way to his teammate. This was the only way how Alonso could have passed him. Later on Smedely came in once again and said “ok, good lad,now stick with him, sorry”. Alonso took the Chequred flag, Massa second, Vettle curised in third position ahead of the Mclaren’s of Lewis Hamilton and Jenson button respectively. Mark Webber drove his Red Bull in sixth place as he was experiencing some oil problems, then it was Kubica, the two Mercedes GP cars and the Renualt of the Russian rookie Vitaly Petrov. Schumi made a perfect start and overtook 3 cars including his team mate Nico Rosberg but changed his strategy and pitted earilier than planned which didn’t worked out well and in the end finished behind his team mate.
On the very same date 25th July last year Massa suffered a life threatening injury at Budapest and spent days in coma there, which kept him away from the racing arena that year(2009). It would have been a very special moment for him but his team handed the victory to the undeserving guy. On the podium Alonso was celebrating his victory where as Massa was just pretending as if he's celebrating. Later in the press conference Massa gave clear indications that he was ordered to slow down. I enjoyed the questions from the journalists as they all launched an attack on Alonso.
Anyways Ferrari made a big step forward everyone was praising them until lap 49, when everyone started criticizing them for their wrong and dirty tactics as they shattered Felipe Massa’s dream by just saying “you understand that message”. . . . . . . . . . .

Prediction for the German grand Prix

Tooo hard to predict this time because the first timed practice was hit by rain, so its pretty difficult to make a prediction. One things for sure that no one's going to catch the Red Bulls this weekend. Ferrari has made a good step forward in the developments and I hope that they'll give tough time to Mclaren, for sure Alonso's car will be ahead of both the Mclaren's. and finally Im making my prediction that Vettle's going to win the Grand Prix this weekend. Let's see. . . . . . . . .

F1:WEBBER WINS DRAMA PACKED BRITISH GP

The aussie driver took the chequred flag at Silverstone this sunday despite he was deprived of the new front wing by his team. The tension in the red bull garage started when the team installed Webber’s front wing on Sebastian Vettel's(Seb) car. Seb damaged his wing during the third and the final practice before the qualifying and there was no spare wing. Red Bull team made updates on their wing so they had only two updated wing's, as Seb damaged his wing they gave Webber's updated wing to Seb and Webber had to race with the old one and did not even discussed the matter with Webber at all. Seb took pole position in the qualifying with Webber second fastest. Alonso stormed his Ferrari into thidr position, Massa 7th and Michael Schumacher struggled at Silverstone with 10 as his team mate Rosberg clinched the 5th spot behind Lewis Hamilton.

On sunday as the race started Webber made a perfect start despite being on the dirty side and took revenge by not only overtaking his teammate but also forced him off the track, Seb got a puncture and had to make an early pit stop. from their Webber never looked back and took a comfortable victory. Lewis came second, Nico 3rd, Rubben's drove his heart out to take 4th position. Schumi struggled throughout the race. Fernando Alonso banged wheels with his teammate Felipe Massa which caused a tyre puncture on Brazilian's car in the first lap which finished his chances to fight for points. Later Alonso tried a move on Kubica taking the grass route and did’nt gave back the position to the pole, so he was given a drive through penalty & once the Spaniard was dropped back he never climbed the order as always. . . . . .but who cares “money talks” Hahaha.

After taking the chequred flag Webber taunted his team on the radio “ Fantastic, not bad for a number 2 driver”. Although I’m a big fan of Seb, as I tipped him to be the future champion when he arrived in the Formula one circuit but this is not right way to win the races and red bull racing team should be careful in the future specially if they want to win the championship this season.

Germany vs Spain Semi Final Preview

The match for which all of the football fans are waiting for, two of the best teams of this World Cup will clash today in Durban. The German's will seek to take revenge from the Spaniard's as Spain defeated them 1-0 in the Euro Cup final in 2008 the last time they met.
If we talk about the game so far Germany has impressed the most as they have beaten better teams like England and Argentina, (the teams that have players like Messi, lampard, Rooney,Tevez,Higuain) so they'll be mentally more stronger than their opponents and also they have the young guns with plenty of experience so they will have an edge over there, the average age of the german squard is 23. Now if we look at the other side Spain has also played very well but the problem is that all of their goals are only coming from David Villa. Torres has been a disappointment in this WC but over all the team is playing well and havn't conceeded many goals.
Miroslav Klose is inching closer towards breaking the record of the Brazilian great Ronaldo for scoring the most number of goals in world cup which he set in 2002. At that time everyone thought that it would not be broken easily but Miroslav is just about to do it, he's just a single goal shy from equalling the record.
Apart from that Thomas Muller will not be playing the match because of a suspension which he got in the match against Argentina, something that the German coach be looking closely at. This would be a huge blow for the Germans.
In the last World Cup I tipped Italy to be the Champs & it got right. This time I wasn't sure so I picked two teams Holland & Spain to be the favourites, one's in the final & the other has to play the semi final, and strangely despite tipping them as favourites Im supporting Germany. I want germany to win but I also want my predection to be 100% accurate. Lets see what will happen tonight. . . . . . . keep your fingers crossed. . . . . . . :x
